Location: A shallow reef that we named Christy Reef about 300 yards from shore.

Description: This is a mostly flat reef in about ten feet of water with an abundance of life. We named it Christy Reef because a few years ago we were boating around looking for a shallow reef to snorkel and Christy was the one that spotted it. If you go just a short distance in either direction the water gets much deeper.
Notes For this Snorkel: This was about as perfect of a day to hit this reef as anyone could hope for. The water was crystal clear with no current whatsoever. We only stayed at this reef a short time before the boat owner wanted to go to a much deeper reef at one of the mooring buoys.
